Paper Challenge

After the balloon cars testing our ability to work as a team, we are back again! But this time it's a paper challenge. Some it finding easy, others finding hard. We are currently learning about 'The Learning Pit'! As you see below, the learning pit tests how we learn. The picture shows that you do fail and that failing is a good thing! When we went to Mind Lab, we found out that FAIL can stand for First Attempt In Learning. We believe that you have to be in the learning pit to learn. And even if it is extremely hard, we all eventually get out of of the learning pit and have that "EUREKA!!" moment. For example, have you ever been on the trampoline attempting to do a flip for weeks, months and even years and then finally do the flip!? If so, it feels so good, doesn't it? In conclusion, we all enjoy these technology challenges and learning about the learning pit! :)

Did you know, in 2028...

Today we watched this video 'Did you know, in 2028...' and recorded what we thought and what we it made us wonder.

These were some of our wonderings...

I wonder...
  • How they know this will happen?
  • How many jobs will be available?
  • Will the world really change that much in the next 13 years?
  • What people will do if technology does everything?
  • Will we be like robots?
  • How much pollution is there going to be?
  • If there will be any space left on earth?
  • Will there still be computers?
  • What jobs we might have?
  • Will we use water from Mars? Does it have oxygen in it?
  • If we will still have cars?
  • How we will earn money?
  • Will artificial technology be safe, especially around young children... What if it glitches?
  • How we will afford to have houses and buy food if our jobs are replaced with artificial intelligence?
  • If 3D printing will take over the need for shops?
  • If there will be viruses that effect this kind of life?
  • Will Apple still be around?
  • What environmental problems there will be?
  • Will there still be conversations?
  • How will we be learning?

Watch the video and see what questions you have... What do you think the world will be like in 2028?
